Overview
The OWELS is about learning tournament style playing. It gives
players a chance to experience tournament schedules, rules, refing
and player behavior. Most of all it is about having FUN playing
paintball.The
players and refs have spoken and we have listened. Changes for the
08 season are:
1. More advanced players will be allowed to participate. Advanced
teams may have one player with any level of experience on their
team.
2. We will separate the teams/players into experience divisions.
Teams will play teams with the same experience level.
3. Advanced players and teams will be assigned to lesser experienced
teams as coaches and advisors as needed.
Games:
Games will be 5 minutes in length , round robin format. The object is to eliminate all players, capture the flag and hang it on the opposing
teams side.
Scoring:
5 points for each player eliminated, 35 points for the flag pull,
and 50 points for the flag hang. 50 bonus points per games will be awarded to less experienced teams
that play the more experienced teams
Finals:
The top four teams will move to the finals. Finals will be
double elimination.
Ramp:
PSP mode will be allowed, capped at 13 balls per second.

Q. Do I have to be on a team to play in this tournament.
A. No.
We will make up teams the day of the event. Everyone will get to
play.
Q. I played at a
National Tournament. Can I play in
this tournament.
A. Yes. If you played D2 or D3 at any national level
tournament including the XPSL or PSP.
Q. If I am not on a team can I still win the
Grand Prize?
A. Yes. We will be keeping track of points for each
player. The 3 players with the highest points at the end of 5 events will win the Grand
Prize.
Q. Can I bring my own paint to this tournament?
A.
No. You must purchase paint at the field at each event.
